The Challenge

The task was to establish an eccentric personality and positioning for this new artist through a video for a song that could be considered more traditional than quirky.

The Solution

Using a color palette inspired by Wes Anderson, cartoonish credits, and eclectic costume design to accentuate the eccentricity in the brief, the video was crafted shot by shot to push the right kind of crazy. The opening scene was selected to set the ‘anything goes’ tone, with a frame from it used on YouTube and Vimeo. The mouse in the blender sparked the comments we wanted, and the final scene with blood dribbling revolted to the right degree!
